Elantxobe is a small coastal town located in the province of Bizkaia, inside Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve and just below cape Ogoño, the tallest sea cliffs in the Basque Country. Founded in the 16th century, the town developed around its fishing port, which became the heart of its economy and community life.
