Aiten Etxe restaurant

Aiten Etxe, located on Elkano Kalea by the beach in Zarautz, is part of the Hotel Ur Bare and was relaunched with chef Rebeka Barainka at the helm.

Its cuisine emphasizes grilled cooking (“brasa”) and a connection to local land, sea, and seasonal producers. You’ll find two tasting menus (Sustraiak and Sustrai Txiki), creative dishes that blend tradition and innovation, and highlights like fresh fish, mountain meats, vegetables, and charred flavours.

The décor uses natural materials, warm lighting, and offers views of the sea, creating a cozy but refined dining ambience.
