Alameda is a family-run, avant-garde Basque restaurant located in Hondarribia in the historic Hotel Alameda, a beautifully restored 19th-century building.

Chef Gorka Txapartegi leads the kitchen, crafting original, seasonal dishes that draw from both land and sea—produce from the garden and fresh seafood feature heavily. Its style is elegant yet welcoming, deeply rooted in local tradition (including “Cocina del Bidasoa”), but always pushing creative boundaries.

The restaurant includes multiple dining rooms, a gastronomic tavern, and a terrace with views over the River Bidasoa.
