Perched in the village of Santa Cruz de Campezo (Kanpezu), Arrea! is a one-Michelin‐star restaurant that channels the raw spirit of mountain cuisine.
Led by Edorta Lamo, it’s a return to austere roots: game, wild herbs, foraged ingredients, indigenous fruits, truffle, honey and local vegetables dominate. In “Menu Arrea!” (gastronomic) or the more accessible “Mendialdea” (market menu), diners experience bold, characterful food, deeply local and expressive of the land.
The space is rustic and divided: a tavern, a “kuadra” (stable) and the main dining room.
