Rodero restaurant

Rodero is a one-Michelin-star restaurant in Pamplona that blends tradition with culinary innovation.

Founded in 1975 by Jesús Rodero, it is now led by his son Koldo, who has modernised the family-run restaurant while preserving its deep roots in Navarrese flavors. The cuisine is creative and intelligent: local ingredients such as fresh seafood, game, vegetables, and herbs are treated with precise technique and artistic presentation. The restaurant offers both tasting menus and an à la carte option, with smaller “half-portion” choices to accommodate different preferences.

The dining room is warm and elegant, managed by Koldo’s sisters, and the wine list is curated. Rodero is celebrated for its flavour-driven cooking and has earned three Repsol Suns.

There are places that need no introduction because they have earned, with time and work well done, a place in the memory and heart of those who know how to eat. In the middle of Pamplona, a few meters from Plaza de Toros, there is one of those temples where tradition and high cuisine live in harmony: the @rodero_restaurante

This 2025, the Rodero family celebrates 50 years at the forefront of a project that has evolved without losing its essence. Today, from the hand of chef Koldo Rodero, the house offers a proposal of signature Navarra high cuisine, where taste rules and local product shines with its own light.

The foundation of his kitchen is solid, deeply rooted in the Navarra tradition, but reinterpreted with creativity, technique and a contemporary sensibility.

The menu moves to the rhythm of the seasons: vegetables from the Navarra orchard, wild mushrooms, hunting, fish of the north, Navarro dairy products,... Each dish is designed to thrill without losing the north, with a perfect balance between modernity and memory.

And like every great restaurant, it has attentive, professional and familiar service; headed by Goretti and Veronica, assisted by Martín, who make you feel at home from the first minute.

Rodero isn't just one of Navarra's greats, it's also one of those places you know they're going to be there. In my case, it's one of those stares I come back to with my eyes closed and a grateful stomach. Here's to many more years of celebrating it together.
